A Beautiful, Braided Up & Very Pregnant Alicia Keys Debuts ‘We Are Here’ [VIDEO]

Alicia Keys recently took the stage to champion a more peaceful world for children with a performance of “We Are Here” – the first single from her upcoming sixth studio LP. Keys’ began at the piano, where she performed against a dark backdrop that allowed the lyrics to shine like brilliant stars as she delivered her anthem against the many injustices affecting kids across the globe, from inadequate education to hunger, fatherlessness and more. The plea for peace gained momentum as Questlove joined in on drums to round out the chant with Keys encouraging people everywhere to push for a better world. The sound of the tune is rooted in Keys’ typical anthem style but is riddled with calls to action for people to start talking about tragedies like Gaza, Israel, Nigeria and more. In an interview with the Associated Press, Keys shared details about her new album saying, “What I know for a fact is it’s the best music I’ve ever done in my life yet and it’s really exciting to be able to have this kind of growth, this type of opportunity.”
