Mr. Obi - Leaves APGA for PDP

The former governor of Anambra state, Mr Peter Obi, who was the major pioneer of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) party has defected to PDP.

Obi who was served twice as Anambra state governor in the platform
 of APGA, announced joining PDP when he was visited by the party's elders to his residential home

The delegation included Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, Deputy Speaker, Emeka Ihedioha, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Anyim Pius Anyim, Governors Godswill Akapbio (Awka Ibom), Theodore Orji (Abia), PDP National Publicity Secretary, Olisa Metuh, Women Leader, Kema Chikwe among others.
